Many of the top high school cross country teams from Southern Nevada participated in the Palo Verde Labor Day Classic Saturday at Desert Breeze Park.
Green Valley’s Reese Leoncavallo won the boys junior and senior race with a time of 13 minutes, 40.4 seconds. Green Valley’s Ka’eo Luna (14:08.5) finished second.
Shadow Ridge’s Ryen Hughes (16:43) won the girls junior and senior race over Coral Academy’s Alexandra Herchik (16:50.4).
