Carlsbad (California) 24, Arbor View 17: At Carlsbad, the Aggies rallied to tie the score early in the fourth quarter, but a late rushing score by the Lancers made the difference.

Cathedral Catholic (California) 52, Centennial 49: At Los Angeles, a fourth-quarter pass from Spencer Smoak to Jeremiah Jackson gave the Bulldogs a 49-32 lead, but the Phantoms answered with 20 straight points to steal the victory.

Galena 47, Pahrump Valley 7: At Pahrump, the Trojans scored the game’s first TD, but the Grizzlies took control from there and cruised to a victory.

Desert Pines 27, Las Vegas 26: At Las Vegas High, the Wildcats led most of the way, but their failed 2-point conversion attempt late in the fourth quarter gave the Jaguars the victory.
Desert Pines plays at Cheyenne Aug. 28, and Las Vegas plays at Mountain View (Arizona) Aug. 28.
Cheyenne 26, Chaparral 24: At Cheyenne, JaKai Diggs ran for a score and had a TD reception as the Desert Shields defeated the Cowboys.
Jace Landry rushed for 139 yards and two TDs to help Cheyenne, which hosts Desert Pines Aug. 28. Chaparral hosts Western Aug. 28.
Hurricane (Utah) 49, Moapa Valley 20: At Overton, the Tigers led 28-14 at halftime and put the game away by outscoring the Pirates 14-0 in the fourth quarter,
Moapa hosts Mojave Aug. 28.
Del Sol 45, Western 8: At Del Sol, Arthur Gonzales scored the game’s first touchdown with an early 60-yard kick return and added a 20-yard rushing TD later in the first half to help the Dragons beat the Warriors.
Del Sol plays at Bonanza Sept. 4, and Western plays at Chaparral Aug. 28.
SLAM! Nevada 52, Virgin Valley 48: At Faith Lutheran, Gregory Cortez carried seven times for 184 yards and two scores, and the Bulls scored a late TD to defeat the Bulldogs.
Anthony Edwards ran 10 times for 158 yards and two scores to help SLAM! Nevada, which hosts Valley View (California) Aug. 28. Virgin Valley hosts Clark Aug. 28.
