Rich Lowry’s column on the gravitation toward communism by members of the Democratic Socialists of America was excellent, but I have to take issue with his closing paragraph, in which he states “the Democratic Party isn’t about to become a vehicle for communism but the DSA is.” The useful idiots in the Democratic Party are supplying the DSA with the most important thing they need: ballot access.
The Big Tent that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries keep talking about is looking like a circus tent. Those in the DSA eat their own if they don’t consider you extreme enough. Their plan to take over the Democratic Party is working perfectly. I truly believe that, come November, there will be lifelong Democrats doing something they never thought they would: Vote for a Republican.
