Eldorado’s boys soccer team defeated Palo Verde 2-0 on Thursday night at Eldorado as part of the Gerald Pentsil Classic on the first day of high school fall sports competition.
Josue Figueroa and Charlie Archila each scored a goal for the Firehawks (1-0).
Eldorado next plays SLAM! Nevada at 7 p.m. Friday at Eldorado. Palo Verde (0-1) plays SECTA at 6 p.m. Friday at Eldorado.
The Gerald Pentsil Classic continues at Eldorado through Saturday.
