It seems to me that it would have been a lot cheaper for LA Mayor Karen Bass to build an insane asylum and substance abuse center for the homeless. These would create jobs both during the construction phase and to staff the facilities once the homeless people have moved in. That’s a two-fer. Everyone left on the streets after that gets an eviction notice — i.e. get a job or move to another state.
