A single-vehicle crash in the east valley sent the driver to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded to the crash just after 7 a.m. on Interstate 11 at the Boulder Highway off-ramp, according to Highway Patrol spokesman Shawn Haggstrom.
Haggstrom said the vehicle left the road way and struck a concrete barrier wall. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The vehicle was totaled, Haggstrom added.
The off-ramp was closed for investigation and clean up as of Saturday afternoon.
