UNLV basketball coach Josh Pastner has again added to his roster.

The Rebels have signed Moustapha Loum, a 6-foot-10, 220-pound forward and transfer from Northwestern State.

Prior to his sophomore season at Northwestern State, Loum played at Frank Phillips College in Texas.

“Moustapha brings size, athleticism, and a high motor to our frontcourt,” Pastner said in a statement. “He is a physical presence in the low post, rebounds the ball well and can protect the rim. Offensively, he gives us a lob threat and runs the floor hard, which allows him to finish in transition.”

Originally from Dakar, Senegal, Loum ranked sixth in the Southland Conference in blocks per 40 minutes at 2.2 and seventh in field-goal percentage at 60.7 percent in 21 games.

Loum is the 10th new player for UNLV this offseason.
