The Athletics are launching a mural project that turns the construction walls of their future ballpark into a canvas for Las Vegas artists.
In partnership with Muros, a street art advertising agency, the A’s are commissioning a collection of large-scale murals to be painted by local artists.
“The collection will reflect the energy of the city, celebrate its creative voices, and provide fans and visitors with an evolving visual story as the new ballpark takes shape,” said the A’s in a press release.
The first mural, painted by Las Vegas muralist and tattoo artist Brett Rosepiler, can be seen along the construction wall on Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. Featured in the colorful mural is a baseball player in the A’s green and gold uniform, Stomper, the elephant mascot, and text that reads: “Welcome A’s.”
According to Rosepiler’s social media @brettrosepilerpaint, the mural took nine days to complete. Rosepiler’s work is featured on walls across Southern Nevada.
Over the next year and a half, more Las Vegas artists will be commissioned to paint other portions of the wall. Each mural will focus on the A’s arrival in Southern Nevada.
The ballpark construction site spans 9-acres and will bring a 33,000-fan capacity ballpark to the Strip. The relocation of the A’s to Las Vegas was approved by Major League Baseball officials in 2023 and the groundbreaking ceremony for the new stadium was held in June 2025. The construction budget for the stadium is $2 billion and is scheduled to be completed by Feb. 29, 2028.
