The crowd brings the energy whenever Caitlin Clark is in town, but the Las Vegas Aces couldn’t capitalize on home-court advantage Sunday against the Indiana Fever.
Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell, who entered the afternoon second in the WNBA in scoring, totaled a game-high 27 points to lead Indiana to a 109-75 victory over the Aces at Michelob Ultra Arena.
The win was Indiana’s third straight over Las Vegas and its second consecutive road victory in the series after the Fever went winless in their first 12 trips to Las Vegas since 2018.
A’ja Wilson, who entered the afternoon leading the league in scoring after back-to-back double-double performances, finished with a team-high 20 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
The four-time MVP also moved into No. 14 on the WNBA’s all-time scoring list with 2,281 career points in her ninth season.
