Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White announced Saturday that star guard Caitlin Clark will play against the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday when the teams meet for the second time in seven days.
Clark, who missed the first meeting because of a back injury, will be on a time restriction and is expected to play between 20 and 25 minutes.
Sunday’s game will mark the first meeting this season featuring Clark and Aces star A’ja Wilson, who also missed last week’s meeting.
Wilson returned Thursday from a three-game absence because of a right ankle injury, recording 32 points, 10 rebounds and her 130th career double-double in Las Vegas’ 88-80 victory over the Portland Fire.
Clark returned to action earlier this week after missing three consecutive games, scoring nine points while adding four rebounds and three assists in 16 minutes during Indiana’s 106-92 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.
The 16 minutes were the fewest Clark has played in a regular-season game during her WNBA career. She then sat out Indiana’s 92-89 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Thursday.
In 18 games this season, Clark is averaging 20.5 points, a team-best 7.9 assists and four rebounds while shooting nearly 46% from the field.
Indiana enters Sunday’s contest second in the Eastern Conference at 13-9, while the Aces sit second in the WNBA standings at 16-6.
The Aces are 5-3 against the Fever since Clark entered the league in 2024, although Indiana has won the last three meetings, including its first-ever victory in Las Vegas last Sunday at T-Mobile Arena.
