
A Clark County man who was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder and other offenses died at a Las Vegas hospital last week, according to state prison authorities.
Clifford Graham, 66, died at the PAM Health Specialty Hospital, near North Tenaya Way and West Smoke Ranch Road, on Tuesday, the Nevada Department of Corrections said in a press release.
Graham was serving a life sentence with the possibility of parole at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs for charges including first-degree murder with use of a deadly weapon, battery by a prisoner with a deadly weapon and prisoner with a weapon, according to the Department of Corrections.
Graham started serving his prison sentence in January 1995, prison officials said.
An autopsy was requested and next-of-kin were notified, according to the release.
