Frontier Airlines has launched two new flights out of Las Vegas.
Frontier has started nonstop service to Kansas City International Airport and Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport out of Harry Reid International Airport, the airline announced. Both flights were previously offered by the now-defunct Spirit Airlines.
The Kansas City, Missouri route began service on Sunday and the Detroit route on Monday, according to Frontier.
Nonstop service to Kansas City starts at $69 and with flights four times a week. The Detroit line starts at $79 with daily flights.
“We are pleased to grow our service at LAS, ensuring low-cost travel options remain available for Nevadans as well as those visiting Las Vegas,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines.
The Denver-based airline continues to add new LAS routes, some of which were offered by Spirit Airlines, which ceased operations in May.
In June, Frontier launched nonstop flights to and from Nashville, Tennessee.
Also in June, the airline announced it would be adding 15 new flights a week: 11 round trips a week between Las Vegas and Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport beginning Aug. 20; and four a week between Reid airport and Boise Airport in Idaho beginning Sept. 10.
