I read with some degree of astonishment the June 25 commentary by Susan Estrich, “Hillary Clinton is right about 2024 election.” In the fourth paragraph she states that Joe Biden “wasn’t a bad president, and he left the country in better shape than it is now.” Where has she been living?
Mr. Biden and his administration allowed 10 million to 20 million illegal immigrants to flood our borders with little to no vetting, spent like drunken sailors resulting in cumulative inflation of 21 percent (per current Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent), embarrassed the nation with his withdrawal in Afghanistan, allowed policies that encouraged minor children to make decisions about sex-change operations, allowed biological men to compete against women, and basically abdicated to the auto-pen for policy changes, just to name the most egregious.
Mr. Biden did about as much as any one individual could to weaken our country and tell the world how much he disagreed with the founding principles of our great nation. I look up each day and thank the powers above that be that we have an administration now that is reversing these idiotic policies Mr. Biden put in place.
