Ten years ago, most brokerages were still operating on the same playbook they had used for decades.
For Craig Tann, he was more interested in what real estate could look like if you built something genuinely different, something more intentional. A company built around the idea that when you invest in exceptional people, real infrastructure, meaningful support and an unmatched culture, extraordinary results naturally follow.
Ten years later, the results speak for themselves. In 2025 alone, huntington &ellis surpassed $1.4 billion in closed sales volume, solidifying its position as one of Nevada’s top-producing independent real estate firms. The company also has earned a place on the Inc. 5000 list for four consecutive years and has raised more than $500,000 for local charities, reflecting a commitment to the community that has remained central since day one.
“One of the most defining moments for huntington &ellis came when we stopped thinking of ourselves as just a brokerage and started building a full-service support system for our agents,” Tann said. “That shift created the foundation for the culture we have, today, one built on collaboration, innovation and raising the standard for what a real estate company can be.”
The impact of that shift can be seen throughout the organization. huntington &ellis expanded its in-house marketing capabilities, strengthened its leadership team and built the infrastructure that allows agents to operate like entrepreneurs within a larger organization.
Rather than focusing on simply adding more agents, the company has remained committed to helping every agent reach their full potential. Today, huntington &ellis generates the highest productivity per agent of any major real estate brokerage in Southern Nevada, consistently outperforming much larger firms despite having significantly fewer agents. For Tann, that distinction represents one of the company’s proudest achievements and reinforces the belief that investing deeply in people will always outperform simply adding more people.
“We’ve always believed that if you create an environment where people feel supported, empowered and surrounded by excellence, top talent will naturally thrive,” Tann said. “That’s not a recruiting strategy. That’s a culture strategy. We’ve never measured success by how many agents we have. We’ve measured it by how successful each agent becomes. Of everything we’ve accomplished over the past decade, I’m most proud that we’ve built the highest-producing brokerage on a per-agent basis in Southern Nevada. To me, that’s proof that when you invest deeply in your people, exceptional results follow.”
The Las Vegas market has tested that culture at every turn. Over the past decade, the region has experienced historic housing demand, rapidly rising home values, evolving consumer expectations, changes to industry practices and the relentless pace of technological innovation. Tann doesn’t view those changes as obstacles to endure. He sees them as opportunities to innovate, adapt and demonstrate the strength of the foundation the company has built.
Looking ahead, Tann believes the next decade will be defined by the same principles that shaped the first: investing in people, embracing innovation and continuing to elevate the client experience. While the tools and technology will continue to evolve, the company’s core mission remains unchanged.
“We’ve accomplished a lot over the last 10 years, but I still feel like we’re just getting started,” Tann said. “The goal has never been to build the biggest company. It’s been to build the best company, a place where great people can build extraordinary businesses, clients receive an exceptional experience and together we leave a lasting impact on our community.”
