PGA Tour pro Charley Hoffman and LPGA golfer Dana Finkelstein Fall were among seven inductees in the UNLV Athletics Hall of Fame, which was announced Tuesday.
The induction ceremony will take place Nov. 5 at the Strip View Pavilion inside the Thomas & Mack Center.
The hall’s membership will increase to 148 inductees, including both individuals and teams, since its inception in 1987.
Former student-athletes become eligible for induction 10 years after completing their collegiate careers, while coaches and administrators must be at least five years removed from the university.
“Every two years we look forward to celebrating the people who have made UNLV such a special place, and this upcoming class is another great example of what it takes to be a Rebel,” UNLV Director of Athletics Erick Harper said.
“Moving the ceremony back to a more traditional setting during a home basketball and football weekend will make it even more memorable for the inductees, their families, friends and all of Rebel Nation.”
The class of 2026 features:
Terry Cottle
Cottle spent 30 years in the UNLV athletics department, including 10 seasons as an assistant football coach.
He later served as recruiting coordinator, director of football operations, associate athletic director for marketing and director of community relations before finishing his career as an athletics administrator at the College of Southern Nevada.
Erick Fedde
Fedde, now in his ninth Major League Baseball season, became the first player in UNLV history selected in the first round of the MLB Draft when the Washington Nationals chose him 18th overall in 2014.
The 2014 Mountain West Pitcher of the Year finished his Rebels career with a 21-10 record and a 3.18 ERA, the fourth-lowest in program history.
Dana Finkelstein Fall
A two-time all-American, Fall led UNLV to four NCAA regional appearances and consecutive NCAA tournament berths in 2014 and 2015.
She was a three-time Mountain West Player of the Year, still holds the program record with 56 career rounds at par or better and ranks second in school history with 363 birdies before continuing her career on the LPGA Tour.
Charley Hoffman
Hoffman starred for the Rebels from 1995-99 and helped lead UNLV to the 1998 NCAA men’s golf national championship.
A four-time PGA Tour winner, Hoffman was previously inducted into the hall as a member of the 1998 championship team in 2008.
Marissa Nichols
Nichols played softball at UNLV from 2005-10, serving as a team captain for five seasons.
She still holds program single-season records for home runs (18), total bases (176), runs scored (66), hits (89), and stolen bases (35).
Bill Paulos
Paulos, a 1969 UNLV graduate, has been one of the athletics department’s longtime benefactors.
He helped support the construction of the Mendenhall Center and Fertitta Football Complex and currently serves on the Rebel Golf Foundation Board.
Jason Thomas
Thomas quarterbacked the Rebels from 2000-02 under coach John Robinson.
He ranks sixth in program history with 4,497 career passing yards and recorded seven career 200-yard passing games during his three seasons at UNLV.
Tickets are available, as the ceremony is open to the public. It begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and the induction ceremony at 6:45 p.m.
