A new medical-office project is set to take shape near Summerlin Hospital Medical Center.
Las Vegas developer Scott Goldstein held a ceremonial groundbreaking Tuesday for Queensridge Medical Plaza, located on Alta Drive just east of Hualapai Way.
His real estate firm, Prospect Street Capital, is starting with the first phase — a pair of two-story buildings that are both roughly 45,000 square feet.
Goldstein said in an interview that he expects to start construction next month and to finish the buildings around spring 2027.
He also said that more than 50 percent of that space is presold.
Overall, project plans for the 12.2-acre site show four buildings with 178,400 square feet combined, according to Las Vegas city records.
Goldstein has built other projects near hospitals in Southern Nevada, and he said Tuesday that medical tenants “want to own their own real estate.”
As he previously described it, Las Vegas is built on small- and medium-sized businesses outside the casino-packed Strip, and owning office space lets buyers build equity, obtain loans and control another element of their business.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
