A Las Vegas volleyball coach is facing charges including sexual assault after police said he inappropriately touched a teenage volleyball player while massaging her on multiple occasions.
Levi Miller, 26, also sent sexually explicit messages and videos via social media to the girl, according to a Metropolitan Police Department arrest report.
He was arrested Tuesday and remained in custody at the Clark County Detention Center as of Friday, jail records show.
Miller was the facilities and operations manager for Vegas United Volleyball Club, a youth volleyball organization with boys’ and girls’ teams ranging in age from 12 to 18, before the club terminated him following the arrest, according to an email from a spokesperson for the club.
In an interview with detectives, Miller said he is also a functional and strength coach, which Miller said entails designing weight-room programs for athletes aged 14 to 18.
Beginning in May 2025 and ending approximately a month ago, Miller served as the physical therapist for the alleged victim, the arrest report said. At the time of their first session, she played for Vegas United, but soon after switched club teams. Miller then offered to continue the semimonthly physical therapy sessions free of charge.
In an interview with a forensic interview specialist at the Southern Nevada Children’s Advocacy Center, the alleged victim explained that at the start of each session, Miller would ask what areas hurt and massaged them. However, those massages changed over time, transitioning to inappropriate touching starting when the victim was 15, which made her progressively more uncomfortable, according to the arrest report.
Additionally, during one session, the alleged victim recalled Miller putting his hands around her neck and squeezing, which made her feel like she was choking.
At one point, the two began exchanging phone messages. In April, they started communicating through Snapchat — a social media platform that automatically deletes messages once viewed — by Miller’s request. According to the alleged victim, Miller then sent several sexual videos to her, including one of him “rubbing himself through his pants,” the arrest report said.
Miller admitted to expressing “fantasy talk” to the alleged victim, mentioning wanting to touch her and have sex, saying he had developed romantic feelings toward her days after her 16th birthday. Miller denied ever purposely touching the alleged victim inappropriately.
Las Vegas Justice Court records show that Miller faces charges of sexual assault with a child under 16, two counts of lewdness committed by a person over 18 with a child 14 or 15 and a count of child abuse or neglect.
