A man shot to death in a parking lot early Monday in the central Las Vegas Valley has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Anthony Anderson, 37.
Anderson died from gunshot wounds. His manner of death has been ruled a homicide.
The Metropolitan Police Department said Anderson was shot at 4:02 a.m. in a shopping complex parking lot in the 4100 block of South Maryland Parkway near Flamingo Road.
Metro Lt. Robert Price said dispatchers received several 911 calls at the time reporting a man had been shot. Anderson was rushed to a hospital where he died.
Police said 26-year-old Jordan Garcia has been arrested and charged with murder. Police said Monday Garcia and Anderson were believed to be roommates and that they were involved in a fight at the time of the shooting. Garcia is being held at the Clark County Detention Center without bail.
