
The Public Education Foundation
has appointed Latoya Holman and Jeff Wells as co-president of the organization. They will succeed Rich Broome as co-CEO when he retires on June 1, 2027.
“We’re thrilled to have two strong leaders on staff in Latoya Holman and Jeff Wells, whose exceptional and complementary skills are equally essential to take PEF to the next level,” said Peter Guzman, the outgoing board chair. “Additionally, their strong professional partnership will serve the organization well. navigate, with their teams, the Board and the community, the many opportunities to accelerate progress in our public schools.”
Board Vice Chair Tony Sanchez will succeed Guzman as board chair. Joshua Miller, currently PEF’s treasurer, becomes vice chair. Jean Vock, formerly chief financial officer of UNLV, succeeds Miller as chair of the organization’s finance committee.
Additionally the following community leaders were added to PEF’s board of directors: Jacqueline Beato, CEO, Touro University Nevada; and Jacqueline Estrella, regional sales director, Cox Business, Las Vegas.
