More plans have been unveiled for the new $70 million Henderson indoor sports and entertainment complex.
Henderson Sport and Social is the official name for the new indoor fieldhouse, which is a public-private partnership between the city of Henderson and KemperSports. The facility, which was greenlit in December 2024, will be located at 3375 St. Rose Parkway and will open in October, according to an Instagram post.
Officials already broke ground on the project in May 2025.
“A modern destination bringing sport, social life, and community together in Henderson, Nevada,” said Henderson Sports and Social and KemperSports’ Instagram post. “Built for play, connection, and shared experiences, it’s designed to be a place where athletes, families, friends, and neighbors come together in an entirely new way.”
According to its website and Instagram post, the new 180,000-square-foot, two-level facility will include four basketball courts, eight volleyball courts, two indoor turf fields and 20 bowling lanes. It will also offer activities such as laser tag, outdoor mini gold and an arcade, as well as a fitness center, child watch and food and beverage options.
The total cost of the project is expected to be $70 million, with KemperSports contributing $10 million. For the remaining one-time costs, it will be funded through the Public Infrastructure Bond Sale, West Henderson Development Fund and City Municipal Facilities Fund.
Design and construction for the new fieldhouse were approved at the Dec. 19 Henderson City Council meeting, with Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and Klai Juda Wald Architecture + Interiors as the developers.
The planned facility is expected to support nearly 250 permanent jobs and generate roughly $1.5 million in annual tax revenue and nearly $40 million in annual economic output, according to city projections.
