A Las Vegas local had a Wednesday to remember after hitting a massive baccarat jackpot at an off-Strip resort.
The Palms Casino Resort said in a news release Thursday that the lucky winner, identified as Jian W., won more than $1 million while playing baccarat.
The Palms said the Las Vegas local won the jackpot while wagering with a $5 progressive side bet.
“The guest hit a rare baccarat jackpot with an uncommon suited winning hand combination,” the property said.
The resort noted that Jian celebrated the life-changing moment alongside family and friends on the casino floor.
