Lennar topped the rankings as the No. 1 builder in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada during the first quarter.

Las Vegas-based Home Builders Research reported Lennar had 447 net sales, a 17 percent decline from the 540 a year ago.

Lennar was followed by D.R. Horton with 420, a 14 percent decline from 486 a year ago.

Pulte Group was third with 311 sales, a 16 percent decline from 370 a year ago.

KB Home was fourth with 274 sales, a 26 percent drop from 368 in 2025.

Sekisui House was fifth with 224 sales, a 2 percent increase over 220 a year ago.

Century Communities was sixth with 126 sales, a 5 percent increase from 120 a year ago. It was eighth a year ago.

Tri Pointe Homes was seventh with 92 sales, a 8 percent decline from 100 a year ago.

Taylor Morrison was ninth with 87 sales, a 14 percent decline from 101 a year ago.

Touchstone Living was ninth with 79 sales, a 36 percent decline from 123 a year ago. Touchstone Living was seventh a year ago.

Toll Brothers was 10th with 77 sales, a 48 percent decline from 149 a year ago. Toll Brothers was sixth a year ago.

Sun City Mesquite was the No. 1 selling subdivision during the first quarter with 57.

That was followed by Brantley by the Pulte Group with 50.

Heartland Trails by D.R. Horton was next with 49.

Independence by Touchstone Living had 39 sales.

Watercolor by Touchstone Living had 37 sales.

Tempo Trails by D.R. Horton was next with 34 sales.

Quinn Canyon by the Pulte Group had 31 sales.

Caldwell Park Groves by KB Home had 29 sales.

The Presley by Lennar was next with 29 sales.

Grandview by Lennar had 28 sales.

Symmetry Trails II by D.R. Horton had 28 sales.

Builders continue to add to their land portfolios for their next developments. They closed on 11 deals adding 70 acres in March.

The group was highlighted by a series of transactions adding up to just over 49 acres between Clark County and Pulte Group. Pulte Group also acquired just under 17 acres in the Villages at Tule Springs master-planned community in North Las Vegas. D.R. Horton added more than 4 acres near Carey Avenue and Camel Street in the east valley, said Home Builders Research President Andrew Smith.

“For many months now, we have been reporting comparatively low parcel sizes for builder land purchases compared to previous years,” Smith said. “This is directly related to the land crunch in Southern Nevada, precipitated by the sluggishness with which the federal government has been releasing parcels for sale. We can see this directly when looking at the average number of lots in new-home communities. Projects that opened for sale in 2020 averaged 103 lots, while thus far in 2026, that number is only 64.”

Builders opened 70 percent more projects in the first quarter of 2026 than a year ago.
