Here’s a breakdown of the Las Vegas Raiders’ 17 regular-season games, with dates, times, TV information and predictions for each matchup. The team is off Week 13.
Week 1: vs. Miami Dolphins
Sept. 13, 1:25 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Series lead 21-21-1
■ Last meeting: Nov. 17, 2024 — Dolphins 34-19
■ Predictions:
Ed Graney — Win, 1-0. The Raiders must take this one. Miami was one of the worst passing teams in the league last season and allowed 38 sacks. The Dolphins ranked 26th in total yards. Now, they turn to Malik Willis at quarterback. He’s 3-3 over six starts in 22 games since being drafted in 2022.
Adam Hill — Win, 1-0. The Raiders are making a whole lot of moves that should make them very competitive in 2027. Miami is probably a year, if not more, behind that timeline. This is one of the most likely wins of the season for the Raiders and it comes at a great time with the Dolphins still trying to figure things out. It’s the first time the Raiders have started at home since 2021.
Week 2: at Los Angeles Chargers
Sept. 20, 1:05 p.m., SoFi Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 69-62-2
■ Last meeting: Nov. 30, 2025 — Chargers 31-14
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 1-1. The Raiders might take down Jim Harbaugh’s team at home but it will be a different story inside SoFi Stadium. Justin Herbert, if protected at all, should have his way here, no matter how many Raiders fans (and there will be a lot of them) pack the venue.
Hill — Loss, 1-1. The yearly extra home game for the Raiders against the Chargers at SoFi Stadium may see the crowd a bit more balanced than usual should the Chargers start looking like a real contender.
Week 3: at New Orleans Saints
Sept. 27, 1:25 p.m., Caesars Superdome
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 8-7-1
■ Last meeting: Dec. 29, 2024 — Raiders 25-10
■ Predictions:
Graney — Win, 2-1. Derek Carr has been long gone from the Saints for a minute, and the team is moving forward with Tyler Shough as its quarterback. The other potential options are Spencer Rattler and Zach Wilson. Hey, maybe the Raiders can even pass midfield in this one before two minutes remaining in the game. They better.
Hill — Loss, 1-2. Shough was the best quarterback at the NFL combine last season, and he showed the Saints enough as a rookie that they are at least making it look like they are prepared to build around him. At least the Raiders don’t have to deal with Bourbon Street on Halloween weekend or New Year’s this time.
Week 4: vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Oct. 4, 1:25 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Chiefs lead 76-56-2
■ Last meeting: Jan. 4 — Raiders 14-12
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 2-2. It will be yet another glorious day at Allegiant Stadium, where the home crowd will be dressed in red and Chiefs Kingdom will once again take over in Las Vegas. Nobody rules Allegiant like Kansas City fans.
Hill — Loss, 1-3. While the Raiders did end last season with a victory over the Chiefs in a meaningless game in Las Vegas, Kansas City still has not lost a competitive game at Allegiant Stadium. That even includes the Super Bowl.
Week 5: at New England Patriots
Oct. 11, 10 a.m., Gillette Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Patriots lead 20-18-1
■ Last meeting: Sept. 7, 2025 — Raiders 20-13
■ Predictions: Graney — Loss, 2-3. Taking down the Super Bowl runners-up is one thing. Doing it on the road is another. Unless there is a TMZ video of Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini discussing the Patriots’ game plan (don’t put it past anyone), I think New England is pretty safe here.
Hill — Loss, 1-4. Remember last season when the Raiders opened the season with a stunning road win over the Patriots and made it appear they were respectable while the Patriots were over-hyped and destined for a top-five pick in the draft? It feels like eight years ago. You know, the length of time some affairs last. That was too easy. Beating the Patriots again will not be so simple.
Week 6: vs. Buffalo Bills
Oct. 18, 1:25 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Bills lead 22-21
■ Last meeting: Sept. 17, 2023 — Bills 38-1o
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 2-4. Fact: Josh Allen will be even better now that his offensive play-caller is his head coach in Joe Brady. The Bills have also upgraded at wide receiver, which will be a great test of what could be a questionable Raiders secondary. It means bad news for the home team.
Hill — Loss, 1-5. This will be the second time the Bills will play in Allegiant Stadium. It will, however, be the first time Bills Mafia is allowed to infiltrate the building because the first time was during the 2020 COVID season. It’s going to be very loud and the facility may set a record for alcohol sales. So, technically that’s a win for the organization?
Week 7: vs. Los Angeles Rams
Oct. 25, 1:25 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Series tied 8-8
■ Last meeting: Oct. 20, 2024 — Rams 20-15
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 2-5. You’re talking about a team (L.A.) that could win the Super Bowl against one (Raiders) that, as you will read here, might win seven games. And the Rams only got better in the offseason. Heck, the Rams might win this one with Ty Simpson at quarterback. With Matthew Stafford, it’s a certainty.
Hill — Loss, 1-6. Last time the Super Bowl was played at SoFi Stadium, the Rams hoisted the trophy. History could repeat itself with the big game coming back to Los Angeles this season. The return of former Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams could make for an interesting storyline.
Week 8: at New York Jets
Nov. 1, 10 a.m., MetLife Stadium
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 27-20-2
■ Last meeting: Nov. 12, 2023 — Raiders 16-12
■ Predictions:
Graney — Win, 3-5. The weird thing about Geno Smith is he really does talk as if most everything went well in Las Vegas last season. It didn’t. He wasn’t any good. The quarterback might view this matchup as a revenge game, but those around him won’t be good enough to support such a stance. A road win for the Raiders.
Hill — Win, 2-6. The Jets are sitting pretty with a ton of draft capital in what figures to be a fantastic draft next season. That won’t help them right now. And there is no way the Raiders are going to allow themselves to lose to Smith, to whom they actually owe a debt of gratitude for helping secure the No. 1 pick.
Week 9: at San Francisco 49ers
Nov. 8, 1:05 p.m., Levi’s Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: 49ers lead 8-7
■ Last meeting: Jan. 1, 2023 — 49ers 37-34 (OT)
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 3-6. Rumor has it the 49ers balked at playing their former Bay Area neighbors in an international game so as to have it in San Francisco. Riddled with injuries last season and yet still able to secure a road playoff victory, the 49ers are better this season. Won’t be a memorable homecoming for the Raiders.
Hill — Loss, 2-7. The action in the stands could be better than on the field in the Raiders first regular-season game in the Bay Area since departing Oakland for the glitz and dollar signs of Las Vegas. The Raiders will give them a game, but it’s a tough matchup. Will there be more points scored or fights?
Week 10: vs. Seattle Seahawks
Nov. 15, 1:05 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 30-26
■ Last meeting: Nov. 27, 2022 — Raiders 40-34 (OT)
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 3-7. Raiders first-year coach Klint Kubiak knows the Seahawks as well as anyone, but that knowledge only takes you so far with rosters that have this much disparity when it comes to talent. The Raiders simply aren’t at this level yet.
Hill — Loss, 2-8. The bad news here for the Raiders is that they will have to play against the defending Super Bowl champions. The good news is that most of the offensive staff from that title run is now coaching for the Raiders, Kubiak. Seattle still probably has too much for the Raiders to overcome. Back-to-back games against NFC West powers isn’t ideal.
Week 11: at Denver Broncos
Nov. 22, 1:25 p.m., Empower Field at Mile High
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 73-58-2
■ Last meeting: Dec. 7, 2025 — Broncos 24-17
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 3-8. The Raiders believe they have upgraded their offense, beginning with what has been a porous line. Still won’t be able to stop Denver’s pass rush, which again led the league in sacks last season.
Hill — Win, 3-8. This is still a very tough place to play, especially for opposing offenses. The addition of Jaylen Waddle should give Denver an explosive element it lacked last year. It could also be an emotional day for Kubiak to return to the stadium where he grew up around and play a team his dad led to a Super Bowl title.
Week 12: at Cleveland Browns
Nov. 29, 10 a.m., Huntington Bank Field
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 18-11
■ Last meeting: Nov. 23, 2025 — Browns 24-10
■ Predictions:
Graney — Win, 4-8. It’s crazy. We actually think the Raiders will be as good or better away from Allegiant Stadium this season than at home. This is another example. It’s interesting that the Browns’ offseason moves have been lauded as some of the best across the NFL, but they still had to replace their entire offensive line. That, coupled with who the quarterback will be — Deshaun Watson as the starter or Shedeur Sanders the man? — says the Raiders find a way here.
Hill — Loss, 3-9. The Browns are a fascinating franchise. They have been great in the draft and pretty prudent in free agency the last couple offseasons under general manager Andrew Berry. It’s possible they would be far ahead of schedule if not for the one burden of the Watson contract. Reports are he could actually be healthy and competent again, but it’s been a long time since that were true. It’s also going to be very cold.
Week 14: vs. Los Angeles Chargers
Dec. 13, 1:05 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 69-62-2
■ Last meeting: Nov. 30, 2025 — Chargers 31-14
■ Predictions:
Graney— Win, 5-8. We’ll give the Raiders an AFC West victory here. I mean, they have to win one game in the division, right? The Chargers last won the West in 2009 and last prevailed in a playoff contest in 2018. A big chance for Maxx Crosby to meet Herbert more than once in the backfield.
Hill — Loss, 3-10. There may not be a more interesting combo in the league than head coach Jim Harbaugh working with new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. It may unlock a whole new level to talented, yet underachieving Herbert. The Raiders will be coming off a bye and starting a run of three straight home games. If they are not in the playoff race and haven’t already made the switch, this is probably the time to debut Fernando Mendoza.
Week 15: vs. Denver Broncos
Dec. 20, 1:25 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: CBS
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 73-58-2
■ Last meeting: Dec. 7, 2025 — Broncos 24-17
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 5-9. Bo Nix should be healthy despite having the ankles of a 15-year NBA veteran and all the Broncos quarterback has to do here is manage a game while his defense gives the Raiders fits.
Hill — Win, 4-10. The Broncos had a lot of things go right last season until the very end when the Nix injury cost them a trip to the Super Bowl. They will face more adversity this year.
Week 16: vs. Tennessee Titans
Dec. 27, 1:05 p.m., Allegiant Stadium
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 31-22
■ Last meeting: Oct. 12, 2025 — Raiders 20-10
■ Predictions:
Graney — Win, 6-9. Sure, there is reason for some renewed optimism for the Titans with a new coach in Robert Saleh and general manager in Mike Borgonzi and his Super Bowl rings from Kansas City. But the talent level puts the Titans still at a few years away from any level of contention, meaning the Raiders pick up a needed home victory.
Hill — Win, 5-10. Tennessee has had a very strong offseason, much like the Raiders. The Titans had a long way to go, though. The Titans may still be a year away from being competitive.
Week 17: at Arizona Cardinals
Jan. 3, 1:05 p.m., State Farm Stadium
■ Network: Fox
■ All-time record: Raiders lead 6-5
■ Last meeting: Sept. 18, 2022 — Cardinals 29-23 (OT)
■ Predictions:
Graney — Win, 7-9. There is a reason the Cardinals have the lowest Super Bowl odds at most every sportsbook. They’re going to stink. It would be fun if former Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew won the job. He’s not very good, either.
Hill — Win, 6-10. While the Raiders have a decision to make between two potentially decent starting quarterbacks, the Cardinals aren’t even sure they have one at this point.
Week 18: at Kansas City Chiefs
Jan. 9 or Jan. 10, time TBD, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium
■ Network: TBD
■ All-time record: Chiefs lead 76-56-2
■ Last meeting: Jan. 4 — Raiders 14-12
■ Predictions:
Graney — Loss, 7-10. Patrick Mahomes is ahead of schedule while recovering from his knee injury. Travis Kelce is back. Eric Bieniemy has returned as offensive coordinator to save the run game. Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker is in the backfield. ‘Nuff said.
Hill — Loss, 6-11. Mahomes is going to be on an absolute mission this season after the 2025 campaign became essentially a wasted season because of his knee injury. The Chiefs could very possibly return right back to their customary place atop the divsion. They could still be in a battle to secure that spot when they close the season in Las Vegas for a second consecutive year. The game will be played on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on which network selects the game and how relevant it is to the standings.
