Frontier Airlines will launch nonstop flights to and from Nashville, Tennessee, four times a week beginning June 11, the airline announced Tuesday.
The Denver-based discount air carrier said it would introduce the new route with $89 one-way fares.
“We are pleased to continue our growth at LAS with this new service to Nashville,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “This new route will get tourists to Las Vegas with more money in their pocket, as well as offer Las Vegas-area consumers convenient and affordable travel to the Music City this summer.”
The service expansion is part of a package of flight increases that will begin in May involving Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, Newark’s Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport in Florida and John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, in addition to Las Vegas.
Flights between Las Vegas and Nashville will operate Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays.
Frontier flies twin-engine Airbus A320 and A321 jets capable of carrying between 180 and 240 passengers on its routes.
