A Las Vegas grocery store is holding a closing sale, with almost everything marked half off.
The Albertsons at 1300 E. Flamingo Road is closing, offering 50 percent off most items, confirmed the store on Thursday. The only items exempt from the sale are magazines, glasses, gift cards and cigarettes.
The store is slated to close on April 15.
Meanwhile, an Albertsons is under construction near the northeast corner of Decatur Boulevard and Elkhorn Road.
Plans call for Albertsons to take occupancy in the first quarter of 2027, although the supermarket chain will determine the store’s opening date, Kean Thomas, vice president of finance and development for developer Vestar, said in January.
The supermarket chain has a big presence in Southern Nevada. There are 35 Albertsons locations statewide, mostly in the Las Vegas Valley, according to its website.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
