Lakeside living is top of mind at this Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice-built estate.

Built by Scottsdale-based firm Swaback Architects + Planners, this Lake Las Vegas estate is at 10 Sunrise Beach Circle. The house is currently listed for $9.99 million from listing agent Cindy Scott of Douglas Elliman of Nevada.

Located in Parker Point Estates, the home is 6,064 square feet, sitting on over an acre, with four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Swaback was founded by Vernon D. Swaback who was an apprentice of legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Swaback was Wright’s youngest apprentice at 17 and even served as the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s CEO and interim president.

The home pulls on Wright’s philosophy of organic architecture, mixing clean lines with the landscape of the lake and desert, according to the listing.

Scott calls the property “majestic,” saying: “it’s like no other property here in the valley.”

“Views in every room and on a private lake in Las Vegas are unique,” said Scott. “The main living area opens up to bring the outside in and at sunset or sunrise the desert mountains glow with the sunlight hitting them.”

Floor-to-ceiling windows complement the views, to “blur the line between indoors and outdoors.”

Inside the home has luxury amenities like an oversized RV garage, climate-controlled wine display, office space, spa-style bathrooms and a chef’s kitchen. The primary is located downstairs and has custom built-in bookcases and walk-in closets.

Although, where the property shines is with its outdoor, resort-style living.

The home has its own private boat dock on Lake Las Vegas, alongside its 60-foot pool located just feet away from the water. Additionally, there is an outdoor fireplace and built-in barbecue, finished with palm trees lining the property.

Listing agent Scott, who hails from California herself, said the property could attract more California buyers, with more luxury options now on the table.

“I think we have a lot of options in the luxury space to bring buyers from all over. Since I have been here from 2017, I have only seen tremendous growth,” said Scott. “Eighty percent of my clients are coming from California so I understand the relocation and the benefits financially as I have experienced myself.”
