The Clark County School District Police Department arrested a Henderson elementary school worker Wednesday.
Julia Martinez-Ebner, 44, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count of child abuse/neglect and battery, police said in a statement.
The arrest happened after an investigation initiated at Robert L. Taylor Elementary School in Henderson in September.
Martinez-Ebner has been employed by CCSD since July 2020 and was last assigned as a literacy and language intervention specialist at the school. The school district said Martinez-Ebner would be placed on unpaid leave.
