The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in east Las Vegas, police said.
Police said officers responded to the 5700 block of East Pavot Court, just north of Vegas Valley Drive, after receiving a shooting call at 4:44 p.m.
Officers found one person dead at the scene, police said.
