As a taxpayer residing in Henderson, I’m pretty flummoxed. I read the recent Review-Journal article about the city selling the parcel of land that once housed the old Fiesta Station Casino. It’s good that the city sold it. But the problem is that they sold it for $30 million. They bought it for $32 million. We lost $2 million on that deal. Apparently, when it’s other people‘s money, there’s no problem wasting it.
