It’s time to vote for the Nevada Preps boys prep athlete of the week.
This week’s poll features four players who posted standout performances during the week of Sept. 7-12.
Voting will close at noon on Thursday. Results will be reported on Friday.

Here are this week’s nominees:
■ Edward Chacon, Rancho boys soccer
The senior scored all three of his team’s goals as the Rams outlasted Mater East for a 3-2 win Thursday. Chacon leads Rancho with five goals this season.
■ Madden Delacruz, Liberty football
The junior passed for 230 yards and two touchdowns Thursday as the Patriots defeated Desert Oasis 42-0. He completed 12 of 14 passes on the night.
■ August Krael, Sunrise Mountain football
The sophomore passed for 166 yards and four TDs Thursday to help lift the Miners to a 26-24 overtime victory over Valley. Krael has thrown nine TD passes in four games this season.
■ Thaddeus Thatcher, Arbor View football
The senior ran for three touchdowns and passed for another three to lead the Aggies to a 55-34 win over Centennial on Thursday. The Oregon State commit’s performance helped Arbor View pick up its first win of the season.
