A Boulder City woman and a Las Vegas man have been charged in what police say was the cumulative theft of more than $300,000 from a Southern Nevada senior.
Hillary Ann Williams, 34, of Boulder City, and Milan Bhupendra Thakkar, 49, of Las Vegas, were booked at the Clark County Detention Center last week. Williams has since been charged with theft of $100,000 or more and exploitation of an older person while Thakkar is charged with theft $100,000 or greater.
Dozens of forgery counts against the two were dismissed by Clark County prosecutors, according to court records.
A Metropolitan Police Department arrest report indicates a third suspect was also investigated in the theft, but police records did not show anyone else arrested or charged as of Tuesday morning.
Police said in the arrest report that investigators were first contacted by a senior on Aug. 4, 2025. The man reported he’d discovered large numbers of fraudulent checks and cash withdrawals were drawn on his Charles Schwab and Citibank accounts from May 2024 to August 2025 without his permission or knowledge.
The report states that Williams is suspected of stealing $122,725 from the man, while Thakkar was accused of stealing $188,702.
Williams was described as a former employee and tenant of the victim who worked on his property and cared for the man’s animals. The victim also said he’d only met Thakkar once when Thakkar helped connect internet at his residence, police said.
Thakkar has posted a $100,000 bail, court records show, but he remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon. Williams was also in custody.
