Here we are months into this Iran debacle, and what’s the plan? We are now going to impose life-changing financial sanctions. Wouldn’t this have been appropriate before any military actions?
We’ve lost at least 18 service members plus hundreds who were wounded. We thought we could just bomb them into concessions. That plan has failed as we underestimated Iran’s resolve. We are attempting to re-open the Strait of Hormuz which was never closed.
This has turned into a sad period for our country. Here we go trying to police the world. When will we learn?
