
A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after a hit-and-run crash Sunday night in the east Las Vegas Valley.
The crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. on South Nellis Boulevard and East Twain Avenue, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.
Investigators say a woman was crossing Nellis in or near a marked crosswalk when an unknown gray sedan struck the pedestrian. Police say the fleeing vehicle will have damage to the front portion along with the windshield.
The victim was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center’s Trauma Center. The crash remains under investigation by Metro’s Collision Investigation Section.
