Crews from the Clark County and Henderson fire departments extinguished a blaze at a nursery near Eastern Avenue and the 215 Beltway on Friday night, a county fire official said.
“At approximately 9:05 p.m. Friday, the Clark County Fire Department, with assistance from the Henderson Fire Department, responded to reports of a fire at Moon Valley Nursery, located at 9040 S. Eastern Ave.,” said an email from Kenny Holding, a senior deputy fire chief with the Clark County Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke coming from the roof of the building. The fire was put out. One firefighter was taken to a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury, Holding said.
The cause of the blaze remained under investigation, Holding said.
