A recent letter to the editor from Alfred Dushman criticized President Donald Trump for going along with spreading out vaccinations for kids. Sounds reasonable to me. Of course, I’m 77 years old, and I got the measles and the mumps because the vaccinations were not invented yet. When I was 18 and going to southeast Asia I was behind on my shots, so I was ordered to go get them. Six. Knocked me for a loop.
We had Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has at least as many credentials as Dr. Dushman, in charge of our health care during the pandemic. As we all know now, he made up most of it. Masks didn’t stop the spread, and if we got the shot we could still spread the disease. He also said that if we stood six-feet apart, we would be fine, and that it would be fine if our students all studied from home. We also shut business down to slow the spread. All false.
If Mr. Trump, with his degree from Penn’s Wharton Business School, thinks it’s fine to spread out vaccinations for little children, we might give him a little slack.
Dr. Fauci was the greatest professional and it appears he misled about everything. If you don’t believe me, just ask him.
