A Las Vegas judge Thursday set bail at $200,000 for Hope for Prisoners CEO Jon Ponder, 60.
Ponder appeared stone-faced before Justice of the Peace Suzan Baucum, wearing a navy blue jumpsuit.
He faces total of nine felonies and 11 gross misdemeanors, including sexual assault, suspicion of unauthorized contact with a prisoner by a prison employee or volunteer, attempted coercion and attempted unauthorized contact with a prisoner.
Authorities allege that he sexually abused inmates the Jean Conservation Camp and Casa Grande Transitional Housing.
Ponder’s attorney, David Chesnoff, and prosecutors had agreed upon the bail amount, along with conditions requiring electronic monitoring, no contact with victims and surrender of his passport.
