– Jose Vasquez, Cheyenne: The sophomore tied the score with a goal late in the second half, and the Desert Shields played to a 1-1 draw against Boulder City.
Girls soccer
– Sophia Landi, Spring Valley: The sophomore scored two goals in the Grizzlies’ 3-1 tournament victory over Chaparral.
– Skyley Mecham, Centennial: The junior dominated with five goals and three assists as the Bulldogs cruised to a 12-0 win over Losee.
Girls volleyball
– Sophia Deocares, Shadow Ridge: The senior posted 15 service aces, three kills and three digs to help the Mustangs roll past Civica 25-7, 25-10, 25-6.
– Taylee Dukes, Canyon Springs: The senior captain logged 25 digs to help the Pioneers outlast Bonanza in five sets.
– Averie Gidge, Sierra Vista: The sophomore had 20 kills, seven digs and three blocks to lead the Mountain Lions past Legacy 19-25, 25-23, 25-19, 25-22.
– Aaliyah Jones, Las Vegas: The senior recorded 24 kills in the Wildcats’ 18-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 win over Cheyenne.
– Bryn Neibaur, Foothill: The junior racked up 14 kills, nine digs and a .454 hitting percentage to lead the Falcons to a 25-11, 25-17, 25-11 victory over Tech.
