Breakdown: Bishop Gorman was ahead of Losee 41-0 on Friday before the game was called at halftime. The Gaels host St. John Bosco, ranked No. 1 nationally by MaxPreps Friday at Fertitta Field. Liberty was up at Mililani 24-14 at halftime, but the Patriots fell 31-24. Arbor View lost in Utah to West High 20-14, where the Aggies had two TDs called back because of penalties.
Centennial led Coronado 7-0 before its game was canceled. Sloan Canyon was ahead of Central East (California) 14-7 in the first quarter when the game was called. Foothill never started its Friday game against Green Valley.
Mater East outlasted Faith Lutheran 43-35 in a statement win for the 4A Knights. Desert Oasis’ game against Sierra Vista was rescheduled for this Friday after last week’s wild weather forced the postponement. Moapa Valley won in the final seconds 27-21 against Beaver (Utah).
