
The Aug 6 article on page 1B of the Review-Journal on the shooting death of a Metro police officer quotes Sasha Rush as saying, “Personally, I feel shitty that that cop died because, if I wouldn’t have made that call, maybe he would have still been alive.” Ms. Rush called 911. It is not a crime to call 911. Ms. Rush did nothing wrong.
The criminal, the one who did something wrong, was the man who shot Metro officer Austin Abdelnabi.
Rest in peace, officer Abdelnabi. Sasha Rush, rest in the knowledge that you did something good.
