Roads blocked as crews battle 2-alarm fire in central Las Vegas Valley

Crews are battling a fire Wednesday afternoon in the central Las Vegas Valley.

Multiple buildings were reported on fire just before 2:25 p.m. in the area of West Charleston Boulevard and South Arville Street, according to a Las Vegas Fire & Rescue release.

Crews arrived and found a single-story structure on fire, which had spread to a second home. The fire was upgraded to a second alarm to ensure the necessary resources were available.

A primary all clear on the main fire was called at 2:47 p.m. Utility companies have been contacted regarding this incident.

No injuries were reported.
