Dramatic video released by a Las Vegas veterinary clinic shows staff and a local fire department working to save a kitten after a plant stand became impaled through his mouth.
Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center said in a social media post that the kitten arrived at its hospital with a thick iron piece from a plant stand lodged through his mouth — with the stand still attached.
The Clark County Fire Department worked to remove the metal from the kitten’s mouth before veterinary crews treated the wound.
The hospital said the kitten had no broken bones as a result of the incident.
“This tiny fighter recovered well and was discharged by the end of the day,” the post said.
