
A 19-year-old man has been arrested in California in connection with a shooting that killed a worker at a Las Vegas store, according to police.
David Vasquez, 19, was identified as a suspect in the shooting at a Las Vegas Five Below store on June 17, the Metropolitan Police Department said in a news release.
Police said that Vasquez was taken into custody by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department in California on Monday.
Vasquez was transported to a detention facility in Barstow, California, and is pending extradition to Las Vegas for multiple felony charges, including open murder with a deadly weapon, police said.
The victim was identified as Brandan Lucas, who was shot and killed while working at the store.
