Area15, an immersive entertainment destination, has named Bonnie Weber as its new president.
Weber most recently served as chief operating officer of Palace Entertainment, where she oversaw a portfolio of 22 parks across North America and Australia. Prior to that position, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Six Flags Entertainment, including senior vice president of park operations, where she led operations for 26 parks and managed a $1.5 billion P&L and more than 50,000 employees across the company’s North American portfolio.
“Bonnie brings a distinctive ability to expand Area15’s bold ideas into something that performs at a high level without losing what makes it special,” said Winston Fisher, chief executive officer, Area15. “As we continue to grow and introduce new experiences and attractions, her leadership will help us stay inventive, competitive and firmly ahead of where this industry is going.”
