
RALEIGH, N.C. — Vegas Golden Knights center William Karlsson left Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final with an upper-body injury and did not return for the third period against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Karlsson took a check from Carolina defenseman Sean Walker and appeared to injure his left arm. He was being checked out by the training staff before skating down the tunnel.
ESPN reported Karlsson is no longer at Lenovo Center.

Karlsson missed 68 games during the regular season with a lower-body injury and didn’t return until the start of the second round against the Anaheim Ducks.
One of the Knights’ best two-way players, Karlsson has nine points in 14 playoff games and had four points during the Stanley Cup Final.
