The Culinary Union has reached a tentative agreement to represent some 800 hospitality workers at the Sphere in Las Vegas, the first union contract for the massive $2.3 billion entertainment venue.
Culinary Union Local 226 announced the deal in a post on X late Thursday.
Representatives of the Sphere did not respond to email and text inquiries to confirm the signing.
Union and Sphere representatives have been working on the initial contract for several months.
The Culinary Union, which represents an estimated 60,000 hospitality workers in Strip, downtown Las Vegas and Reno resorts, did not provide details about the Sphere contract.
“Congratulations to the Sphere Las Vegas workers on winning a strong union contract!” the X post said.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
