Stanley Cup Final tickets for the Golden Knights’ first home games of the series against the Carolina Hurricanes are on track to be the most sought after in team history.
The series’ three potential Knights home games are among the top five most expensive home games in the team’s nine-year history and among the most expensive series of all time on secondary ticket marketplace StubHub.
“Vegas has quickly become one of the most reliable demand markets in the NHL on StubHub,” Jill Gonzalez, StubHub spokesperson, said. “In under a decade as a franchise, the Golden Knights have produced three of our priciest Stanley Cup Final runs ever, and this one is shaping up to be the most in-demand of the bunch.”
Tickets to Tuesday’s Game 4 at T-Mobile Arena in the tied 1-1 Stanley Cup Final start at $711 and go as high as $18,020 for a seat on the glass on StubHub. The game is the second-most in-demand contest in Golden Knights history, trailing only Game 5 of the 2023 Stanley Cup Final, when the Knights won their first title over the Florida Panthers.
Saturday’s Game 3 against Carolina is the third-most in-demand game in Knights history, surpassing every Stanley Cup Final home game from the franchise’s inaugural 2018 season, according to StubHub. Prices for Saturday’s game start at $688 and go as high as $6,071 on StubHub.
Games 3 and 4 could be outdone if the series makes it back to Las Vegas for Game 6, should neither the Knights nor the Canes finish the series in five games.
The current get-in price for a potential Game 6 is the highest among the three Knights home games, starting at $940. At $10,803, the top-priced ticket still trails Game 4, but prices would likely rise if Game 6 becomes necessary..
“If the series swings back to T-Mobile for a Game 6, we expect it to set a new franchise ceiling,” Gonzalez said.
The first two games at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, saw get-in prices of $716 for Game 1 and $956 for Game 2 on secondary marketplace TickPick. Tickets listed for Thursday’s Game 5 at the Lenovo Center start at $954 and go as high as $24,306 on StubHub.
Stanley Cup Final tickets, even at the high end, seem like a bargain compared to what New York Knicks fans are having to pay for Games 3 and 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden. Tickets for Monday’s Game 4 start at $7,821 and go as high as $84,302 for a near-courtside seat.
The Las Vegas home dates rank in roughly the top 25% of all Stanley Cup Final home games on record, according to StubHub. That is a notable feat, as the upper end of that list includes the NHL’s Original Six markets that have multigenerational followings, Gonzalez said.
“The Knights have built the kind of postseason fan base where Original Six and Canadian markets used to live alone,” Gonzalez said.
