The Las Vegas Bowl announced Wednesday it would play on New Year’s Eve for the second consecutive year at Allegiant Stadium.
The game scheduled to feature an SEC team against a program from the Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, or either Washington State or Oregon State, will be televised live on ESPN on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2026.
“Culminating with the CFP National Championship, this is going to be a milestone year for college football in Las Vegas, and our game taking place on New Year’s Eve in its 35th season will make it even more special,” said John Saccenti, executive director of the Las Vegas Bowl, in a statement.
Last year’s Las Vegas Bowl featured the Utah Utes beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 44-22 victory in front of 38,879 fans.
The tickets information will be announced at a later date.
