The music programs of a pair of Las Vegas high schools will be transformed thanks to a superstar musician.

The Clark County School District announced in an X post on Thursday that the Morgan Wallen Foundation would be donating more than $60,000 worth of musical instruments and accessories for students at Cimarron-Memorial High School and Desert Pines High School.

“The CCSD thanks the Morgan Wallen Foundation for its generous donation of musical instruments to support our music students,” district officials said in a statement. “We know that students are more likely to attend school and engage in class when they feel connected to their school. Music is a great reason to be excited to go to school every day. With partners such as the Morgan Wallen Foundation, CCSD is working to become a Destination District that students, families and educators choose because they see what is possible here.”

Desert Pines High School is expected to receive violins, trumpets and bajo quintos, totaling over $32,000.

The foundation was founded in 2021 by Morgan Wallen, a two-time Grammy-nominated country and country pop singer, “to help ensure that young people could have access to the same opportunities [Wallen] had in the areas of sports and music,” according to the organization’s website.

Since its creation, the organization has donated funds for the rehabilitation of sports facilities, baseball fields, sports equipment, music programs and instruments across the country.

The contributions to the two Las Vegas schools are part of the foundation’s 2026 Tour Give Back Program, tied to Wallen’s “Still the Problem Tour,” which began in April and is scheduled to conclude in August. For every ticket sold across the tour’s 23 shows — estimated to be well over a million — three dollars is used to support schools in host cities.

Wallen performed at Allegiant Stadium on May 1 and 2 alongside Gavin Adcock and Vincent Mason. Brooks & Dunn also joined Wallen on May 1, while Thomas Rhett appeared the next day.

“When I was a kid, access to music profoundly changed my life and gave me a sense of purpose,” Wallen said in a statement in 2024. “I want that for others, and I’m blessed to be able to provide instruments to these schools through my foundation. We really wanted to say a big thank you to these awesome communities that welcomed us in and let us play for our fans.”
