I was thrilled to read in the Review-Journal recently that InterMountain Health’s Children’s Hospital is making headway with approvals from the Clark County Commission. My local oncologist referred me to an InterMountain facility in Salt Lake City last year, where I was afforded quality, prompt, thoughtful and compassionate care, items in short supply (with few exceptions) in Las Vegas. I hope authorities will encourage InterMountain to develop more hospitals and clinics here so those of us looking for medical help don’t have to make Reid International our first stop.
