An alleged sex trafficking victim of a Las Vegas attorney who described himself as a “gorilla pimp” is suing him and his wife.

The lawsuit was filed Monday by Tautiana Bellamy against Gary Guymon, Marjorie Guymon and the Goldsmith & Guymon law firm. It alleges that Gary Guymon sex trafficked Bellamy and that Marjorie Guymon and the law firm were aware of it, but did nothing to report him.

Gary Guymon, once a high-profile prosecutor, was arrested in February 2025 on allegations that he ran a prostitution ring and plotted with felons to have a client killed.

A judge in August ordered probation and mental health treatment for Gary Guymon after he entered a plea deal in May 2025, consenting to disbarment and pleading no contest to counts of coercion and bribing or intimidating a witness to influence testimony. He was disbarred in December, records show.

The Metropolitan Police Department previously said detectives believed Guymon used his “position as a criminal defense attorney to victimize individuals of sex trafficking and prostitution.”

Gary Guymon declined to comment on the lawsuit when contacted by the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Monday evening. Marjorie Guymon and the Goldsmith & Guymon law firm did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

‘You will do what I tell you to do’

Bellamy hired Gary Guymon as her attorney in or around July 2024, and the two entered a sexual relationship about one month later after he made sexual advances toward her, according to the lawsuit. Gary Guymon also provided Bellamy with money for a 2021 Range Rover and leased an apartment for her, the complaint claimed.

The lawsuit alleged that Gary Guymon became abusive toward Bellamy around October 2024 as he began to intimidate, assault and commit physical and sexual battery against her.

Bellamy informed Marjorie Guymon around November 2024 of the abusive romantic relationship she had with Gary Guymon and shared their text messages, according to the complaint.

In one message from Oct. 12, 2024, the lawsuit claimed, Gary Guymon asked Bellamy for a video of her genitalia and told her she owed him “more than you could possibly acknowledge.”

Guymon described himself in a message as the “gorilla pimp,” meaning a violent pimp, according to the lawsuit. In another message on the same day, Gary Guymon texted Bellamy to tell her, “offer any resistance, and I just might smash your (expletive) teeth out of your mouth,” the suit states.

The complaint claimed Gary Guymon had a history of forming attorney-client relationships with women having legal issues related to prostitution, attempting to gain sexual favors from them and soliciting the women to engage in prostitution with his associates and friends.

When Bellamy refused to engage in prostitution as demanded by Gary Guymon, the complaint claimed, he threatened her.

“Mr. Guymon abused his position of power based on the attorney client relationship, and the family court case in which Plaintiff was attempting to keep custody of her daughter, to manipulate, control, and attempt to force Plaintiff into performing sex acts for him and his associates,” the lawsuit alleged.

The complaint claimed Marjorie Guymon knew about her husband’s actions toward Bellamy and other women, but failed to report him to law enforcement or the Nevada Bar. Instead, Marjorie Guymon “merely admonished him that he needed to tone it down and be more careful to avoid any legal issues,” according to the lawsuit.

“Mr. Guymon and Ms. Guymon showed a shocking, outrageous, and despicable dereliction of their legal duties based on their acts and omissions which allowed Mr. Guymon to continue to abuse Plaintiff and other women,” the lawsuit alleged.
